Assistant Manager – Sales Planning (Senior Sales Planner)


Client – Leading Telecommunication company in Sri Lanka



Responsibilities

  • Taking a lead role in end-to-end tactical planning & execution (e.g. quarterly promos, other trade / sales promos) to complement sales performance, meet growth targets, expand market share etc
  • Countering competitor activities / initiatives to maintain market leadership and growth momentum
  • Target setting for all products & all Sales in the sales hierarchy and periodic tracking, reporting & evaluation of performance
  • Responding to market changes – Sales and sales planning aligning to achieving company strategic objectives as formulated under company business plans
  • Analyzing of market / district potential for all products, analyzing and maintenance of historical data / performance, gathering of market intelligence required for target setting
  • Maintaining good communication with regional and district level internal stakeholders to ensure EPC has a good understanding about National Sales and using this intelligence for strategic and tactical planning.
  • Develop regional / district target setting mechanisms by incorporating bottom-up and top-down approach.
  • Bottom-up approach is based on district and market



Expected Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in, statistics or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Professional qualification in CIMA /ACCA/CMA
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role within a critical and dynamic environment.
  • Should possess Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess the capacity for creative thinking and creative campaign execution.
