We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Management Reporting to join our Corporate Finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with a focus on delivering accurate and insightful management reports to support decision-making processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive management reports, including financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business strategy and performance improvement.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reports.
- Maintain and enhance reporting tools and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy of management reporting processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas of concern and proposing corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements in all reporting activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the management reporting function, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, management reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and experience with financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with financial reporting in a corporate environment is an advantage.
